The foundation is young yet it has hurdled too many pressures and criticisms. At the end of the day, we stood firm; more determined and more vigilant to further our commitment to produce the next Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria. No matter how many enemies block our way and no matter how difficult the tasks maybe, we are still in search for the next big thing in beauty search.
My inspiration as the founder of Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria Foundation Inc. is the belief that we should never stop learning, living and loving. With this philosophy in mind, we embrace the world and all the experiences it has to offer including Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria Foundation Inc.
We are so proud to be Candelarians and we are so eager to prove to the world that we can never be out-shined!
G. at Bb. Candelaria Founder
From a small town in the Province of Quezon, in the desiccated coconut capital of the world, Binibining Candelaria Beauty Pageant was first envisioned as a non profit activity during late 70’s. This glamorous project benefits the young ladies of Candelaria by developing their self confidence, talent and poise.
The program did not continue any further instead a show is staged annually as the incumbent mayor decides for it.
Until the year 2005, Mrs. Leny Algozo together with Mr. Dave Meinard-II O. Lirio and Renato Jun de Gala, produced the very first Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria. In 2006 the organizers decides to have three pairs of equal titles, the Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria-Turismo, Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria-SK and Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria-Quezon. From then on, the pageant continues every summer of the year and was accredited on March 17, 2008 by the Municipal Government of Candelaria, with SB Resolution No. 083-2008. Mr. Lirio stood as the founder of Ginoo at Binibining Candelaria Foundation Inc.
